I understand the 40th reunion was a big success. Sorry I missed it. This website is a great way for old classmates to keep in touch. Thank you to those who work hard to keep it up-to-date. I have retired from nursing and now teach special needs autistic children in the elementary school. We have come a long way from the classrooms at Mildred Helms in the 50's! Maybe I'll see you at the 45th reunion. In the meantime, happy 60th bithday everybody!

Although I did not get to attend Largo High, I did attend all three years of Largo Junior High and remained friends with many people at Largo. I hope everyone is doing well. I would enjoy hearing from old friends from LJHS.

Linda & Mike. What a wonderful job you did...I can only imagine how much time and energy you put into this. THANK YOU!!!! I really enjoyed the Mildred Helms pictures...its hard to believe that we are all approaching the "sunny side of 60" and we still recognize our classmates. SO AMAZING. I was only at LHS for my senior year and didn't feel as if I really new anyone, which is why I didn't come to the reunion. Great site and thanks for your hard work. The reunion was great and a chance to see old friends, renew old friendships and make new ones. My two goals for the 45th is to have my waist size be a lower number than the year reunion it is. It will be tough but I think I have the dicipline to make it happen. Hello everyone, yes I still have long hair, all of it (no bald jokes, just the Indian in me), still ride a Harley, still a biker, still look like a bad ass, but the best was at the 30th. As Jeff put it, "Holy Sh*t" is that Steve. Planning on being at the 45th. I want to see Cathy again, she knows why. Omigosh! I never realized how much the page would change in just one day! Was I surprised to see all the old Mildred Helms pictures. I have my sixth grade picture of Mrs. Puleo's class that I will scan and send to you. I also happen to have ALL of the LJHS School Newspapers (I think it was called the Sandspur??) for the three years from 1960-1963. I'll either go through those for pictures and interesting tidbits, or (if you have enough space) I'll try to scan all of them. It would be fun reading. I know that I also have other pictures taken from the 2001 reunion, and possibly earlier ones. I'm looking forward to seeing what other pictures people might send to the site.
